WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to assist organizations in their efforts to operate more effectively while adapting to the demands in their communities. Click here for more information.
WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local development districts, Indian tribes or a consortium of Indian tribes, state and local governments, special purpose units of a state or local government engaged in economic or infrastructure development activities, a consortium of political subdivisions, higher education institutions or a consortium of institutions of higher education, and public or private nonprofit organizations or associations, including labor unions.

Corporation for National and Community Service
FY 2025 AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) Program
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support community efforts to alleviate poverty and poverty-related problems across the country and assist projects that advance racial equity and invest in underserved communities, particularly those impacted by the long-term recovery from the pandemic. TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? Rather than providing monetary awards, this program will place individual VISTA members with sponsoring organizations

FY 2025 Solid Waste Management (SWM) Grant Program
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide technical assistance and training to help reduce or eliminate the pollution of water resources and improve planning and management of solid waste sites in rural areas. Click here for more information.
WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Private nonprofit organizations, public bodies, federally acknowledged or state-recognized Native American tribes or groups, and academic institutions

Environmental Protection Agency
FY 2024 Clean School Bus Rebates Program
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The program will subsidize the replacement of existing school buses with cleaner buses that result in better air quality on the bus, in bus loading areas, and throughout the communities in which they operate. Click here for more information.
WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Public school districts, local and state governmental entities; public charter school districts; tribal entities including, Indian tribes, tribal organizations, and tribally controlled schools; nonprofit school transportation associations; and for-profit and nonprofit contractors, which generally include school bus dealers, original equipment manufacturers, school bus service providers, and electrification as a service providers
TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $965 million

FY 2025 Preservation Assistance Grants for Smaller Institutions
