FY 2025 Community Wood Energy and Wood Innovation Grants

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support the installation of thermally led community wood energy systems or the building or expansion of innovative wood product facilities. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Nonprofit organizations; local, state, and tribal governments; for-profit businesses, companies, and corporations; institutions of higher education; and special purpose districts, including public utility districts, fire districts, conservation districts, school districts, and ports

FY 2025 Farm to School Grants

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program is designed to increase the availability of local foods in schools and help connect students to the sources of their food through education, taste tests, school gardens, field trips, and local food sourcing for school meals. Grants can launch new farm to school programs or expand existing efforts. The solicitation offers three tracks - Implementation, State Agency, and Turnkey - to support a variety of projects and implementation stages. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Schools and other institutions that operate child nutrition programs, tribal organizations, agricultural producers or groups of agricultural producers, nonprofit entities, and local and state agencies.

FY 2025 Wood Products Infrastructure Assistance Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide support for facilities that purchase and process byproducts from ecosystem restoration projects in areas at risk of unnaturally severe wildfire or insect or disease infestation. Click here for more information.

FY 2025 Wood Utilization Assistance: Wood Innovations Funding Opportunity

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support projects that substantially expand and accelerate wood products and wood energy markets throughout the United States to support forest management needs on National Forest System and other forest lands. Click here for more information.

FY 2024 Restoring Fish Passage through Barrier Removal Grants

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to federal financial and technical assistance to fish passage through the removal of dams and other in-stream barriers for native migratory or sea-run fish. Funding will be used for fish passage that rebuilds productive and sustainable fisheries, contributes to the recovery and conservation of threatened and endangered species, enhances watershed health, promotes resilient ecosystems and communities, especially in underserved communities, and improves economic vitality, including local employment. Click here for more information.

FY 2024-2026 Promoting Resilient Operations for Transformative, Efficient, and Cost-Saving Transportation (PROTECT) Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to address the climate crisis by improving the resilience of the surface transportation system, including highways, public transportation, ports, and intercity passenger rail. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States, political subdivisions of state and local governments, metropolitan planning organizations, a special purpose district or public authority with a transportation function, Indian tribes, a Federal land management agency that applies jointly with a State or group of States, and a multi-State or multijurisdictional group of entities

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $876 million

FY 2024 Regional Infrastructure Accelerators Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to assist entities in developing improved infrastructure priorities and financing strategies for the accelerated development of a project that is eligible for funding under the Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) Credit Program. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States, multi-state or multi-jurisdictional groups, municipalities, counties, a special purpose district or public authority with a transportation function, a Tribal government or consortium of Tribal governments, metropolitan planning organizations (MPO), regional transportation planning organizations (RTPO), Regional Transportation Commissions, or a political subdivision of a state or local government, or combination of two or more of the foregoing

FY 2024 Eddie Bernice Johnson Inclusion Across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science (INCLUDES) Initiative

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to catalyze the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) enterprise to work collaboratively for inclusive change, resulting in a STEM workforce that reflects the diversity of the nation's population. More specifically, this program is intended to motivate and accelerate collaborative infrastructure building to advance equity and sustain systemic change to broaden participation in STEM fields at scale. Click here for more information.
