FY 2024 Community Facilities Program Disaster Repair Grants

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to repair essential community facilities damaged by presidentially declared disasters in calendar year 2022 or to repair or replace essential community facilities damaged by presidentially declared disasters in calendar year 2023 and other disasters in calendar year 2023. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State and local governments, nonprofit corporations or associations that have significant ties with the local rural community, unless they are nonprofit utilities, and federally recognized Indian tribes

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $38 million

Department of Agriculture

FY 2024 Forest Service Inflation Reduction Act Forest Landowner Support: Landowner Cost Share Payment Programs for Climate Mitigation and/or Forest Resilience Practices

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support state-endorsed programs to issue cost share payments to landowners for climate mitigation and/or forest resilience practices, as directed by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Funding may be used to establish new cost share programs or augment existing cost share programs. Click here for more information.

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $140 million

FY 2024 Good Jobs Challenge

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support regional workforce training systems in designing and implementing activities for established sectoral partnerships that meet the existing and emerging skills needs of employers and that train and place program participants into good jobs. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? District Organizations of EDA-designated economic development districts, States, Counties, local governments, Indian Tribes, institutions of higher education, and public or private non-profits

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $25 million

FY 2024 Offshore Wind National and Regional Research and Development

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to apply basic research, education/outreach, and feasibility study activities to be funded under this program will support the government-wide approach to the climate crisis by driving the innovation that can lead to the deployment of clean energy technologies. Click here for more information.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service

FY 2025 North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) Small Grants Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support projects that involve the long-term protection, restoration, and/or enhancement of wetlands and associated uplands habitats for the benefit of all wetlands-associated migratory birds. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State and local governments, institutions of higher education, nonprofits, for profit entities, and federally recognized Indian Tribes 

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $5 million

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program ensures continuity of care in the communities and populations currently served by the Health Center Program. Click here for more information.
